candling veiled eggs?

gidyen39 Jun 25, 2003 01:13 PM

When is it safe to candle my veiled eggs? They have been incubating for about 20 days. All still look good but when can I check for veins? Thanks!

I don't handle eggs as it is too easy to orient them the wrong way when replacing them. The viable ones will get larger but the bad ones will mold pretty quickly. There's an article on eggs, incubation etc. by Bill Strand on www.chameleonnews.com you could read for more info.
