Pac Man frog eating

dtsdragon Sep 02, 2004 01:54 PM

My pac man frog was eating a mouse and after he finished eating it and swallowed it he passed out or something and I thought he was dead but I kept him in the cage because I was hoping he was not dead and the next mornig he was wide awake. When he passed out he was not breating and he was not hibernating and he really looked dead does anyone know what happened did he choke and pass out? Sorry for the message being so long.

Might have been too large. How large is the frog and how large is the mouse? Sometimes they will have trouble getting a food item down and it will take a while. They will stretch out their body, shut their eyes, and just take a break between swallows. This could be the problem. Remember that mice should not form the basis of their diet.
