Hi im a poster in the RES forums as i own 3 of them and found their forums very helpful

but i have just recently aquired a baby stinnkpot and i had a question, he doesnt really use his back legs though, like he swims but only uses his front legs, and spends alot of timme on the turtle dock, can anyone help me out? is this normal or what?

i had the same problem and i moved them into a bigger tank and he was fine

what size tank? hes bout 2 inches long tops and inn a 55 gallon tank

i moved mine into a 55 gallon tank and it was fine. i made the water a little deeper and it craws around, which they are supposed to do.
