I have a snake that was sold to my friend as a Normal Corn. My friend thought she had odd coloring and didn't look like a pure corn, but she posted pics on the Corn Forum and they said looked like a Normal Corn to them, just with odd coloration. She offered the snake to me, and I thought from the pictures she sent that she was beautiful. She shipped her to me, and from the first time I laid eyes on her in person, she just did not seem to be a pure Corn to me. That's actually why she gave her to me. She didn't want to breed her if she wasn't 100% sure she was pure. She has the "painted head" effect that my Yellow/Everglades Ratsnake has. She has an odd head pattern that I've not seen in Corns. She lacks the typical Corn circles on her neck. She also has very faint stripes if you look at her right, more typical in a Rat than a Corn (yes, I know a Corn is a Rat, or at least used to be, the new taxonomy still has me a bit baffled). And her coloring is odd for a pure Corn. I sure would love to hear your thoughts...
