while in the process of cleaning outmy savs 55gal tank,,it got broken(slipped) oops..so i ran out to the wal mart across the street and bought a big rubbermaid container, its just s long as the 55gal an even wider(the lizard has more room in the rubbermaid then he did in the tank) when got it home i put some cypress mulch in there his waterbowl and his hide. to heat it im usin a human heat pad uderneath half the container, and im cuting a whole in the lid to put some screen/wire for the heat lamp

is this setting ok anyone els use the b plastic rubbermaid type enclouseres??

In my opinion, as long as it is escape proof, and bigger than what you had before i dont see why anything would be wrong with it. Also as long as you are still getting your heat gradient and keeping good temps in the container everything should be fine. I recently switched all my monitors from 75gal aquariums to 200gal stock tanks, and they are made out of galvanized steel, but they are bigger, and i made them escape proof, and i use heat cord from a plumbing supply to heat the substrate. You should be fine, good luck

I have 2 of those rubbermade tubs set up like you described, without the heating pad.
They are used for vet visits and I take them with me to reptile shows. If I stay at a hotel after the show, the critters stay warm.
