So I have this tattoo.....

drummagirl Sep 03, 2004 02:01 AM

Actually I've had it since June 2

This isn't the sickest tat out there, but I absolutely LOVE it!! Designed it myself....so if you don't like it....I don't want to hear about it

One of the comments I heard when I told people I was getting one was the old 'that will be there the rest of your life!' Gee....ya think?! Welcome to the point of a tattoo! hehe.

This tat is incredibly symbolic to me, as it marks/represents one of, if not THE, most important milestones in my life....kind of my life summed up into one piece of artwork...so yeah...it better be there forever!!

A little closer now....

Thanks for looking!

Carole

Sweet Carol, ever think of putting snake tattoo on your body?I have, I want a blood and a boa on each side of my shoulder blades watching my back.P.S more pics of your big male please.

Hey Carole,
Very nice Tatt! I love the rich red color. Is that the small of your back? Now maybe you'll get a blood, wrapping around the calf down to your ankle. I could see it now. Way cool!

Yep, that's the small of my back. The pictures kinda suck...
I would love to get a snake tat, I just have to find someplace inconspicuous that i could put it. thanks for the compliments!

Nice tat... I'm restraining myself at the present moment from getting any. Mainly because I know I'll be addicted and get a bunch more! I already went a little crazy with the piercings so.. yea... lol I guess I'll have to wait til I get a real job to get some tats as bad as that sounds

Very nice. Gotta love the "ink"! And...you gotta love getting a custom piece that means something to you...only way to go. Congrats...even if you have had it since June.

jordanm...that addiction thing is no joke! I started with a good size piece on my upper left arm and now I'm sleeved! Good stuff!

So is this your first tattoo or what? You know its like keeping snakes, you can't just live with one.Whats really cool is you designed it yourself. My niece 12 yrs drew up a killer drawing for my sister, her mom, for her lower back piece.I'm now trying ot reframe myself from going past half sleeves on my arms. Thanks for sharing.

drummagirl Sep 05, 2004 06:32 PM

This was my first tat...and I hear ya about the addicting part...i'm already thinking about another one! My problem is keeping them 'out of site'....my chosen career field isn't exactly supportive of people expressing themselves Please post some pics of your inks sometime!

Ooooh sleeves, the flowery jungle scene with the tribal delete is friggin sick Jeff... your giving me ideas which is really a bad thing. Tattoos and piercings are bad for a buisness major and.. im up the creek on one side and I know I'll be up the creek on the other as soon as I get in the water. I would say I need hobbies, but I have too many already! Guess im just too passionate that red bird on the girls side is pretty awesome too, I'd love to see more of your work man.

one thing to keep in mind red and yellow fade alot easier than other colors make sure to take care of your tat even after it heals or the color will fade badly you have started down the path of evil after 20 something tattos my mother is ready to disown me

Yup my friend got a Scottish Lamporne (sp?) in the same spot (hes Scotish.. his dad got a Scotish tattoo at the same time, pretty neat) and like 2 weeks after he got it, it turned from red to pink just the ink dissipating or something but it was still pretty funny til he got it re inked come
