Theres a lot of small herps that can live in ten gallons. When you say herp I guess you mean amphibians too... so heres so ideas
Most small treefrogs
Anoles
Leopard Geckos
House Geckos
Small spiny lizards(Side blotched probably best for that size of tank)
I know theres more why cant i think of anyting? rrgh i know theres a lot more. SOmeone else can probably give you more ideas. In my ten gallons i have a pair of treefrogs in one, a pair of spadefoots in one, and a leopard gecko in one. Then i have a whiptail in a 20 gallon long which ill probably move to a 29 gallon soon. Just some ideas. Sorry i rambled on so long!

yea, but i've read thy need tanks larger than 10 gallons
No one mentioned anything about snakes, and im assuming thats because this is a lizard forum but there are some snakes you could easily maintain in a 10. Such as the Rosy Boa,Kenyan Sand Boa, or House Snakes
