Has anyone used the Zoo Med heat cable?

If so, please give your opinions, as to safety, temps etc. Also, what would be the best way to use it in a 24"L X 12"T X 12"W enclosure, made from MDF and lined with rubberized Contact paper? Many Thanks in advance.
