I usually find snakes when the weather is 80-85. When it gets hot enough here for the snakes to find hides to cool down in.

I usually find snakes when the weather is 80-85. When it gets hot enough here for the snakes to find hides to cool down in.
It depends where you are. I like cool, sunny 60-70° degree days in the spring for finding snakes under things.
In the summer, I like hot days and nights with temps in the low 80s or upper 70s. Those nights seem to produce more snakes than cooler nights.

Depends on what you are looking for and were.
North Florida is famous for producing Scarlet Kingsnakes in January under tree bark.
Eastern Diamondbacked Rattlesnakes are frequently encountered in October.
Water snakes, Ratsnakes and swamp snakes are commonly seen on the road at night in the spring looking for mates.
I have collected several Radinia under boards in Jacksonville, Fl in the month of March.
Cottonmouths are very mobile and active in late August and September in the Central part of Florida.
Collectors in S. Georgia utilize old tin to find Eastern Kingsnakes and corn snakes in the early months of spring, as long as it is sunny and cool. The same thing is true for S. Louisiana.
Many montane snakes are only out during the hottest time of the year as it is still very cool at night were they are found.Here
I have collected some of the rarest snakes is the world in Mexico during July and have seen some of the highest densities of reptiles anywhere in these areas.
No time of year is without it's potential herp find. It just matters what species you are looking for and were.
