Thanks for you kind thoughts. Along with all the lizards, I've got 6 horses to worry about. And I'm 'way too old for the parties and drinking binges. Sigh... We've got everything boarded up and hoping for the best. (It's great to be in Daytona when the expo comes, but living here with the hurricanes stinks!)

wow you must be busy...i used to ride a lot..was great fun...their disposition often seems similar to monitors...in a group there always seems to be a leader,a follower, one that feels content somewhere in the middle, and a wild one always looking for a new place to venture...good luck with the storm..maybe it won't be too bad inland..billy

Hey nothing funner. What a pain in the ass putting these guys in tubs

I hope everyone makes it though unscathed. It is nice to have a reinforced basement for the tornados we get here.
I have some vacation days saved up, maybe I can go lizard hunting in Florida next week.

Good Luck

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

We have a name for a reinforced basement here in Florida; it's called a swimming pool. If I dig 18 inches down where I live, I get water. LOL Of course, in a few hours I won't even have to dig to get water; I'll have a lake in the back yard. My horses are in the barn, with half a roof due to the last hurricane. When we put them up, they gave us this, "Not again!" look.

Yeah, horses are a lot like monitors in some ways. Including remembering which way they got out the last time. But my one horse can open spring clips to let the other horses out; something my lizards have yet to do.
