Who has perfect cal kings?

kottonmouthking Jun 25, 2003 02:54 PM

Hi. I've posted about this before. Just checking back in to see if anyone new sees it. Does anyone have themselves or have access to perfectly banded black and white desert phase cal kings? No breaks or imperfections in the pattern at all. Perfect banding from head to tail. I had one 2 years ago so I know they exist and some people have said they have them but are holding onto them. If no one has any to get rid of (which is understandable) does anyone at least have pics? I'd love to see them and maybe work out something on offspring. Thanks.

I really never paid attention to the banding as I was more concerned with the amount and intensity of the white and the black. My guess is that you can't find many that are perfect but you can find many that are awefully close. I pulled my 50/50's out and noticed one or two bands that don't meet across the back and one or two that don't meet evenly from one side to the other. But mostly the banding is 'perfect'. I have never looked for 'perfect' banding but I will keep my eyes open. I got mine from BHB enterprises and they produce a lot. You may want to have breeders who produce a lot to keep a close eye out for them and I am sure you will find the perfect animals.
