moths as food item?

polosue25 Sep 03, 2004 06:53 PM

I just saw a really big moth in the kitchen, and remembered seeing something in a post about offering them as food....are they safe? don't know what kind it is....large and orangey with a fuzzy body....

since it's been a while since he's touched his CGD, I broke down and got him some babyfood.... it had been in there for all of about 10 minutes and he'd already slurped down about a teaspoonful....so I guess it's back to catching crix...though I might try the suggestion I got about dusting them with the CGD...
