I am pretty regular on the bearded dragon forum, but am looking into getting my first leopard gecko. Can someone provide me with some housing tips, care tips, anything? I am going to do a search on the net tonight to get as much info as needed, but I figured I would come here first seeing as I have had great success on the bd forum. Also, any other good sites with some great leo gecko info? I am not going to be purchasing (if I decide to do so) until I have this all researched out. Thanks guys

Good job with the decision to research it out!I've got some decent links up on my site, I've read over everything I link up there and so its all good correct info.(www.freewebs.com/stephsgeckos)

try looking at breeders sites, they usually go over how they keep their geckos, and if they have nice healthy geckos you usually know the info is correct. but remember there is no exact way to keep geckos, do what you think is best based on everything you have read! I'm trying to say that you wil get lots of contradicting answers. a classic example is that someone uses sand and dosent have a problem with it and then someone tells you sand is a death sentance for any gecko living on it. my advice is to read everything, and take your knowledge of beardies (the general well being...common herp sense..ect) and apply it to what you are reading.

Most importantly dont be afrade to ask questions! if you dont want to post them up you can always e-mail myself, or many other forum members who are more than willing to help!

Thank you so much! I will check out your site and the links. I myself will not be using sand, but I understand the debate over it (it goes on in the bd forums as well). Again, thank you so much!
