Pair of color freaks...

obz Sep 03, 2004 07:39 PM

I can never get a 'good' picture of this girl, these are ok, but she's a bit of a loose cannon, she will never hold still. Though, this is a great body coloration shot, the tail isn't quite so bright red though, more towards a lighter brick color.

This one is a bit more accurate on the tail

See what I mean? She just wont hold still, lighting and or camera setting input is welcome.

Still very light and pastel, but I can see it starting to pour in. I'm assuming yearling or older, as he's an import.

Thanks Bam Bam, I bought her from Mr Mike Eckert, but she was born from a gravid imported female, so mother nature produced her... I know she has some siblings about, but I've never seen anyone post them.

True Redtails

I remember seeing this girl for sale, I almost jumped for her too...

http://www.pacificconstrictors.com/IMG_0007.JPG

I would consider her a laddertail

And this animal as well

http://www.pacificconstrictors.com/IMG_0006.JPG

though it's a reverse stripe, I have seen plenty of animals from this line with the ladder as well. I think that the R-stripe in many cases, is just an extreme ladder

Thanks for the comments!

(maybe we can work something out when those amazon basins reproduce, I've heard that 2 animals from that 97 batch died this year alone)
