how large are your females? is the width of one large mouse the width of the snake? or is it a lot smaller? what is the width of the females? if a large mouse is a snake, i would just feed multiples per feeding. I have never heard of someone feeding their BP every day/every other day.

You should only be feeding your female ball every 5-7 days. I really would advise you to stop "powerfeeding" your female. This is detrimental to their health. I've heard of snakes dieing without any apparent reason, and when a necrospy is performed the snakes insides are filled full of fat deposits and have enlarged hearts. This is not a healthy thing to do...

I dont think that is the case with ball pythons..... Well at least ball pythons that are used for breeding...
It take a huge amount of reserves for ball pythons to produce eggs....if you "powerfeed" during the summer you will have a ball python that will have more fat reserved to produce more eggs during the winter....when they go off feed...thats what Balls do...
I would be careful with a male that feeds well and doesnt refuse during breeding season.....males that are too fat tend to be poor breeders....
I just cant see a breeder female being overweight. My two biggest girls would eat the sink if I gave it to them and they dont lay anything below 10 eggs. They get fat.....they lay.....they get skinny.... "powerfeed" them back to fat ect ect. I feed my snakes heavy when they are hungry....when they are off feed I dont worry about them getting too skinny....
Just my .02 cents
