Everyone think safe thoughts about the Florida alligators!!!

We all want the alligators in the path of Frances to be safe.

Interestingly, there was a photo and caption published in Thursday's Polk County Ledger, Titled "Frances Doesn't Faze Alligators" The photo, featuring Charles Thibos leaning on a fence at an alligator enclosure and being greeted by an approximately seven-foot long, gaping 'gator, reads:

"Charles Thibos, president of Everglades Alligator Farms in Florida City, surveys one of the pools holding some of his farms' 2,500 alligators Wednesday. He said that if Hurricane Frances heads his way, he plans to take some precautions, but the alligators will go to the bottom of their pools and ride out the storm."

Incidentally, this attraction/farm is where swamp scenes from the film "Adaptation" were shot.
