I'm wondering if anybody can shed some light on a behavioral problem I have with one of this year's baby Ball Pythons. That snake strikes at the pinky but instead of swallowing continues to keep the mouse in it's mouth. The other day I left that snake with the pinky in it's mouth while I went shopping assuming that it would be eaten on my return some 4hours later. To my shock, that snake still had the pinky in it's mouth! Has anybody had a similar experience or knows how to correct this problem.
