Finally a little sun... - big pics

jordanm Sep 04, 2004 12:55 PM

Well despite my almost constant state of drunken stupor at the first football weekend of the year I found a few minutes to take some pics. This is my yearling female, she's colored in fairly odd. The grey is getting darker and expanding over her head and tail, while her colors keep getting more vibrant, and her brown is lightening up to a chestnut color. So I guess its a fair trade off

Here is a pic of her shortly after I first got her so you can see the difference. Sorry for the non herp hosting.. but I'm sure you can deal

Cool pics man. There're looking good.HEy isn't that the one pair you got and the one had died.IF so he's grown a lot and is getting dark w/ nice yellow.Glad to get to see these guys again. Later, Ethan

Thanks Ethan, Yea this is the female from the pair, the male died soon after arrival. The breeder promised me a male this season but.. I haven't gotten one. I had kept contact with him and kept asking him about hatchings but never recieved any info. I saw someone on the classifieds posting his Borneos for sale.. so I sent him an email and he offered me a "striped" pair at a cheap price.. but it wasn't anything I wanted. Oh well..?

thanks P, you've got some nice Borneo's yourself over there.

She is maturing into a very, very pretty snake!!! The yellow on her sides looks airbrushed - I LOVE it!!!!

She's a keeper for sure!

Thanks Kara, I take that as a big compliment coming from you. She's actually a little more colorful than you can see in the pics (I'm just a terrible photographer). It looks like shes starting to get a little orange at the tip of her tail too, and her underside is spotted which I havent seen in a Borneo before. These guys are so much fun pssst I love your male

Hey Jordan,
That is one fine looking Borneo ST. I can't believe how beautiful that one is turning out. But then again, I just have to look at the earlier photos of it to see that there were some clues. Ouch!
