Here's Isis less than 24 hours after her surgery. I know she's angry with me because she's in pain. I wish I could relieve her pain but I know there's nothing I can do except wait for her to heal. I don't plan on handling her until she's healed up and feeling like herself again. I'll take some pics of her scar when it's healed up. I'll also try to get the surgery pics too, they're interesting to see.

Thanks for posting pics. She looks good for so soon after surgery.

I think everyone could wish they can take pain away from their animals when they are sick and healing after surgery.

You can still give her a hug through her terrarium without handling her, and kiss her through the glass (I have to do this w/my bearded, he's a little mad at me for not giving him worms first).

She's looking really good!

I know how you feel. We recently lost a mountain horned dragon ( I know Isis is recovering, but you know, I relate), and you just wish you could do something to relieve the pain, or comfort them.

But you can always rest sound knowing you're doing everything you can. And I'm sure Ra'll thank you later.
