What kind of corn?

jazzycat Sep 04, 2004 04:08 PM

This snake was given to me, and I don't think he looks like a normal but I'm not sure what he is.

Looks like a normal to me, though it could be hypo because the belly checkers aren't totally black, though not all normals have totally black checkers either.

It also looks like it may possibly have bloodred influence since the ground and saddle colors seem to blend together a bit, but this is purely a guess.

In the end, I'd just have to say it look like a normal.

YES MY THAUGHTS EXACTLY!

It, to me, looks as if its a normal corn. The place where I baught 3 of mine, has a corn as one of her breeders that looks identicle as far as I can tell.

Either way, its a lovely animal.

It looks more like a normal to me than a hypo, especially with the dark/black longitudinal striping evident. Good color, very thin saddle borders, like others said, maybe het hypo but I'd call it a normal from those pics.

FYI, in my opinion, the color of the saddle checkers doesn't indicate hypo vs. normal. In fact, in my collection, I have more normals with faded out belly checkers and hypos with solid black checkers than the opposite scenario.
