my first bite!

mariatorres1983 Sep 04, 2004 07:07 PM

my python just bit me (well, 10m ago), totally my fault. totally. he got my litttle finger, and instantly a huge bump swelled up over my knuckle, it is bluish black. did he chomp through ablood vessel or something? hurts a little to bend it. he's not srong enough to break it, right? he's big, but only five feet!

Wash it in a little cool water and antibacterial soap (dish soap if thats all you have~ just wash good)~ gently feel for any teeth that may have been left ~ only time I've swollen up was when a tooth was left behind~ But if your sensitive to the saliva there may not be a tooth in there. Put a little neosporin on until the swelling drops. Not a big deal~ you'll be fine.

Now that the first bite is out of the way you won't have to wonder how bad they are any more!

Sorry about that, I freaked because of how huge my finger got. I think he bust that vein, just because it is huge. Anyways, I'm ok now, thanks! Oh, and your snakes are gorgeous!
