New Pac Man

Curtisr_25 Sep 04, 2004 08:04 PM

I got my new frog and he never comes out during the day. He stays buried whenever the light is on. As soon as it is off he comes right out but still hasnt eaten. I realize they arent very active they take a while to adjust, but something just seems odd to me. I dont think it is too hot, it never gets above 80 but like i said as soon as the light goes off he comes out. Is this normal? Any thought?

These frogs are crepuscular. This means that they are creatures that become active around dusk. Some frogs get over this, other still stay with it. It is perfectly normal for him to only come out when it is dark. Do not worry about him not eating because, as you said, he needs a while to adjust. Just keep an eye on him and try not to disturb him or his surrounding too much. Good luck.

its completly normal my packman does the same thing day in and day out. Your pack still might be adjusting to its new home so that could be why its not eating, just keep trying to get him to eat until he does. you could even hold a cricket with tongs in frount of its face to see if it will take it that way.
