The male gecko that I've been nursing back to health is doing quite heartily. He's catching small crickets on his own, laying in his calcium bath, and drinking a lot of water. His skin is now much more taut, and he's begining to gain more fat both in his tail and behind his arms and legs. He's also started walking on his feet, although they are still slightly crooked. Currently, he's living on paper towels to monitor his stools (he's still defecating the cork/wood substrate that he was on when I was given him, but the hardness in his stomach is begining to grow smaller each day, with each defecation). I've decided to name him Odin, because he has been with me for about two weeks now (I think... I'm terrible with dates). I do know that he's not out of the woods yet, but he's already part of the family, and I already have feelings for him. Thank you for your help and support. If you have anything else to add, that'd be wonderful.
