excellent idea from the last poster.i've found that when trying to switch take an extra week between feedings so the snake is hungry.i dry the rodent and then warm it under my halogen desk lamp, then tease feeding almost always produces a strong feeding response.have fun!

what makes you say it's easier to feed live? I have ordered mice frozen in bulk and there really is no easier way to go! lol. I mean I just take one out a few before it's time to eat and put it under the heat light take a shower get out and the mouse is ready to go and my snakes havent complained yet...

all my snake will eat f/t. even my carpet python and she eats large rats. i just feed her with tongs, wave it in front of her and she snatches it. i'll even hang on to the rat after she has grabbed it and wiggle it some more and she squeezes tighter.
with my corns i just wave it about a little and they will go for it. (using tweezers to hold the food item.)

are you saying i should feed him 2 mice at a time? or just let a live mouse go in his cage then grab it and thump it and feed him while hes in food mode?

Let him grab a live and as soon as he swallows the live offer him the thawed one. This isnt an exaggeration: It has worked for me every single time!!! I converted a gopher that had been eating live for years with just one feeding.

Well, before trying all the suggestions.....have you even tried to just feed f/t again? You may not need to do anything special - especially since you're talking about a kingsnake.
