Searching for another leo!

cynicaleuphoria Sep 04, 2004 10:03 PM

I just joined today and figured I might as well ask about this since it can't hurt. I'm currently looking around for a leopard gecko for a friend of mine. He has his eyes set on a snow, though a blizzard or a dark one (just a plain gecko with an incredible amount of spots and all). Just asking really if anyone can give me suggestions of trustworthy breeders who will sell juveniles, as he wants to raise it. I have found a couple breeders that I feel content with, however, the more to choose from the better!

The really nice snows are a bit hard to get ahold of these days. If it's your friend's first leo, you should stick to a cheaper morph for now. The blizzard seem to be a bit high strung, and i wouldn't recomend them as a first leo. Best of luck,

Chances are are that he's only going to own this one gecko, at least for a good while anyway. If he's willing and finds one at a decent price, I can't really argue and tell him not to get it. I'd probably envy him for getting a snow gecko. So far though, we've found a nice non-snow cheap gecko, so we're probably going to stick to that.
