Does Anyone Know of a Tortoise Database? Also a book question (from an old post) This is Real SHORT

Grape Sep 04, 2004 11:13 PM

Hey,

I havn't posted in a while but I do follow the forum avidly. I was wondering if anyone knew of a tortoise database, a place where I could get a overview of different species.

Also someone posted a while ago that there was a "new" book out that had almost everything in it about tortoise health and ailments. I remember them mentioning that it was on the expensive side, but I was wondering if someone remembered the name and author. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I was most fortunate to order this book slightly before publication; the price then was $189.99 with a 10% discount and free shipping.

Good timing on my part---EXCELLENT veterinary medical book!

If we ordered it a year earlier we could have gotten it for somewhere around $150.
