keeping 2 uro's together

i have my oliver and herman ( both mail uro's ) in there new tank . the larger one is snipping at the younger uro , anyway to help the process of them getting used to each other? i'm worried he's gona kill him by biting

Are they both males? The names seem to lead to yes... have they been together before? If they haven't and they are both males I suggest you seperate them.

You should seperate them immediately! Usually 2 uro's of the same sex will NOT live in harmony. Even opposite sex's can be a problem but you have a better chance. My pairs are of opposite sex's and also have a huge difference in size. Its been a couple years now and they still live together fine. But not all can do this.

Most uro's are just as happy by themselves so its not really "necessary" so to speak.

Time to set up yet another tank I'm afraid!
