You can collect 4 in AZ on a small game hunting license. @ in CA on a fishing license. I think you can collect 2 in NV without a license. I thimk as far as captive born it was a pretty slow year. You can also contact Steve Ferrand at lizards@powernet.net he is a good guy to deal as far as a commercial collector in NV. Tell him Tom Greb told you about him. I know he will be collecting a few animals here in the next couple weeks as soon as the weather cools a bit in NV.

Where you thought Chewalla was from, what locale?
I would think Nevada but why is he marked differently?
Or are there many variations?

It is a typical NV phase for sure. It is nice that he retained the banding. I had some similar but the banding faded as they matured to more less just blotches down the back. Probably someplace close to Vegas as that is where they are usually collected. Paul probably at one time knew but forgot by now.
