snake problem

well one of my girls has been not acting normal today. Most of the late afternoon(6pm) and on she has been wondering the cage. She didn't eat today yet I know she wanted too, but she seemed to be more interested in getting out when I opened the door. Well I just took her out to let her wonder around since she wanted out(5 hours since attempted feeding). I noticed her nose is pink it appears she must have rubbed it raw. I have a window on one side which has a very fine soft screen(not like most aquiriums screen). Temps are good in the cage she has two nice hides she uses. As I write this she is still pacing the cage. any ideas on what is going on?

what can I do to treat her nose or do I leave it alone to heal on it's own.

wonder if there is going to be an earthquake(I am in CA) or something, you know how animals can sometimes sence them before they happen.

I'm here in Southern Ca with ya Misty and all of my animals are acting pretty normal~ so lets pray no earthquakes okay!!

meanwhile~ I think I would find a way to exclude her from being able to rub up against that screen and put a little neosporin (any antibiotic ointment) on the nose rub. Then just leave her be and see how she does through the next shed.

Good luck~
No earthquakes!
Especially today (It's my B-day and I'm planning to be partying all day!)

well she is hiding in her hide now so maybe she got it out of her system. I watched her for a long time last night and I don't think she was rubbing on the screen, she has a rough log that might be the problem but she appeared to be rubbing against most things in the cage(water dish etc..) who knows I will keep an eye on her. thanks and happy birthday
