RIP Baby Sid

Stryder Sep 05, 2004 02:40 PM

I guess the little guy just wasn't meant to make it. He lived almost 3 months. I was force feeding him, and he never grew. Never shed. He was active 'till the end, but just couldn't eat or thrive. He was the only egg from his clutch that hatched. Cute as a button little amel, but the tiniest hatchling I've ever seen.

Sorry, Sid. I tried. Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear this, i know how hard it is i lost my first two snakes a few months ago. First to repti-bark, second unknown was doing fine, vet check him out as ok then one day he stopped eating two days later he was dead. As you said he just wasn't meant to make it, not that it makes it much easier i know.

happy thoughts, maybe Sid is playing with Pele and Strider over the Rainbow Bridge chasing mice around all day.

Wayne
