I took some of the moss and put it in another tank so i can watch it grow. once it has filled this tank i was gonna transfer the moss into my frog tank. is this a good idea? Or shud i just throw the moss away. i cant find n e moss in out pet stores and the garden stores have moss but is all dead stuff. N e tips on hwoto care for wild moss or suggestions wur help. Thx!

You could certainly try it. If it has grown well in a separate indoor tank, it should do well in your frog vivarium as well. It depends somewhat where you live and collect your moss. Moss from cold regions usually doesn't prosper in a tropical setting. But if you live in a tropical or subtropical zone, it may do just fine. In any event, it is very unlikely to harm your frog. If it dies, you can always either remove it or "pave" it over with more substrate. This is based on dart frog keeping. You might check more specific sites for your particular speci of frog.
