Is the size of this food ok?

I just got him friday, so this was his first meal here. Is the mouse big enough? Too big? It was the smallest rodent they had at the pet store. It was pre killed by me (that was a nasty little job I had to do). Are once a week feedings good? Also this is a male constrictor imperator, so how big do they get?

The meal is perfect sized. Once a week feedings while he's this small is fine. Although pretty soon he'll probably not want to eat that often. As he grows, the meals want to be the same proportion.

He'll max out 5-7 feet.

You need to invest in any of the several good books about keeping boas.

best thing about keeping boas in my opinion is watching em eat, i could sit and do that for hours, kinda makes my better half a little frustrated sometimes when i wanna spend more time watching the creepy crawlies than playing with her though lol

nice little boa
