tokay feeding

geckos777 Sep 05, 2004 08:59 PM

i just got two tokays and i have them in a 50gal now. i put in about ten crickets and saw them go for them but only when they got close to my tokays. will my tokays go hunt for them because im worried that the crickets are going to hide and not be found cause there is plentey of places for them to hide. so should i just be throwing them in there or is there something else i should do. I also heard that the will eat pinkys, how often should i do that. and one more thing i have a 60 watt daytime heat lamp on doring the day and i have a 60 watt red night light for night is there anything else i need in terms of light and heat. all advice will be greatly appriciated

Well when i feed my tokay i just poke at him till he is down by the bottom then i throw in a cricket at a time and watch him eat them all.
