AL- M or F? What Type of AL?

It is the California subspecies of Southern alligator lizard: Elgaria multicarinata multicarinata. It looks like a subadult that hatched last summer. At this age it is still hard to sex them reliably. Try looking at it from straight down and comparing it to your known male. By next summer, if it is a male its head should be noticeably broader.
