dragonsbynature Sep 05, 2004 10:23 PM

Hey everyone,

Finally got some time to update the website and get some new pics together.. thought we'd share some of our future breeders. We kept the pictures small to load faster but gives you an idea.

We put a lot of time into aquiring "new blood" over the past couple of years to offer diversity to our breeding program. We've been real happy so far. (pictures are just posted for our friends to share they are not for sale please)

Hope everyone enjoyed the pics. We'll post pictures of the females in a few days.

LOL.. thanks Jen.. yea for sure. It's already a pain just keeping them... when they start breeding we'll be pretty excited too.

Very excited to see how Independence (from you) breeds out. She's one of top 5 fav dragons we have.. just an awesome dragon all around.

Which ones were hatched 12/26/03? I love seeing pictures of his siblings as they look now.

Yup, that's the right hatch date... we bought a 10 lot from him and raised them up and sold off the ones we didn't want to keep or didn't need. Those three are the three we kept.

How's yours doing?

He actually was not doing very well. Stopped eating a pooping a little over a week ago, and was sleeping day and night. I talked to Cheri and she was telling me how so many of her beardies went into early brumation this year so I thought maybe it was the same for him, but wanting to be on the safe side I took him to the vet anyways.

He was impacted!

I keep him on shelf liner, so the only thing I suspect is that I ordered too many crix at once and they were growing a little big. They were not huge or anything, but pushing the limit. Add that to the fact that my finace got lazy for a few days while I was at work, and instead of giving salads he just gave extra crix for about 3 days straight.... and yeah I guess that did it.

Anyways! The vet gave him a little enema, and today Domo finally let it all out, then ate some salad! I am so relieved. Even when we try to do everything right, things can go wrong. He's still acting kinda droopy, but it's a step in the right direction.

So, sorry that was maybe more than you asked for, but you asked!

Oh, and the vet also thinks "he" may be a "she" LOL
