Man after 3 months of trying he finally ate a f/t rat! I am so happy! At first I thought it was a fluke so I waited a week and TADA! He ate it without hesitation!
It will probably eat rats all the time now, (until winter) but alot will be sporadic feeders on F/T, but eat live rats everytime offered.
Good luck, some just start and never stop (hope yours is one of them).

Some of mine refuse rats at times. I just offer a fresh killed mouse or df. mouse and "walk in" a rat of suitable size. This way their weight is kept up for the breeding season.
