Albino Pastel

dempserg Sep 06, 2004 03:30 AM

What are your thoughts on how this is going to look when it is produced? Is this going to produce a very high contrast albino?I know it is being tried by many people, but I just don't understand how it is going to be as spectacular as some may think. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The result might be somewhat like a "Sunglow" boa morph.
Extreme high contrast or it may take a hypoXalbino combination instead.

Maybe with some more PURPLE hi-lights. Should be kinda cool. I'm hoping one gets produced SOON! I thought it would have already been done this season.

I was thinking something along the lines of a Lavendar...
Light purple and good contrast...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Rob, this is a project that I've been working on and I will hopefully produce pastel albinos or "pastelbinos"LOL) next year. I'm working with 4.0 pastel 100% het albino males that I produced (the odds weren't with me) and 0.4 albino females. I'm hoping for something great from this union. You're not going to know what that combo will produce until you see that first head pipping the egg.

If I am not mistaken, I believe NERD hatched out a pastel albino last year (or was it early this year?) From what I recall from the pictures, it looked like a regular albino but had areas where more orange was bleeding through in spots. Perhaps they will post an update?

I think you are thinking about the orange ghost albinos. I dont think anyone has pastel albinos yet..... or maybe they do and they are not telling.....
