radiated rat help

im very intersted in getting a radiated rat but i cant seem to get any info on them i have heard they have a bad temperment which i dont mind i have a blood python and texas rat snake is this a myth or is there truth to it also are they good feeders how big do they get and does anyone know a good place to get one any help would be app thank you

Larry Keller has a whole article (6 pages with photos) completely on radiated rats. Since he's a very experienced breeder I'd definitely pick that article up. By the way the November edition is already out.

These are great snakes and nopt as bad as they are supposed to be. If you get CB hatchlings or yearlings they tame up very well. I have had imprted snakes that were very snappy and tamed up with handeling. The impoted ones would revert to aggressive if they were not handled often.
