I picked up these as juvies from Steve Hoch. Notice the fire trying to peak out as a tad of pinstripe - just a tad.
I'm hoping to find the right fire/harlequin to cross them with.

what kind of branches are those? i really like the look of using real branches but it always makes me nervous about which ones are safe.
what did you use?
. . . because I use whatever I can find that looks good. This is from a birch tree - except the bark is a little slippery for them - it's better if it's roughed up somewhat.
I don't bake them either - I figure if there are any snacks in the tree, my cresties can eat them. I just make sure they are clean and disease free.
