A tale of two sisters........>>

LindaH Sep 06, 2004 05:23 PM

I couldn't resist getting these pics. This is Buffy and Daisy, two lil T'pos yearlings who hang out together. Since they have such light colored faces...and live on newspaper...it's hard to catch them with clean noses, unless it's the second after they shed Behold the dreaded "Newspaper Nose"!!! Although they both have smudges, Buffy seems to have the worst of it. This is the boa equivalent to the little kid with a dirty face!!

Thank you. I'll have to get some new pics of the male Leopard after he sheds, although he is almost a twin to her.

One reasone i don't like newspaper, but will settle for plain butcher paper. Would be funny if actual print was transformed onto them

They look like a couple of kids that just got in trouble for something. "What?" blink, blink "Who, us????" "You must be mistaken."

LindaH Sep 06, 2004 06:57 PM

I know! It is so rare that you catch them in a position like that. Their bodies were curled around the same direction too....sort of a boa-kodak moment for me

These girls have neat little personalities and have become really mellow. I like to handle my snakes and they didn't want any part of that stuff in the beginning. Buffy just wanted to get away and Daisy, whose original name was "Mean Snake" wanted to kill me. I dodged a few lightening strikes from her and, then some, I didn't dodge in time But it's all better now and life is good. They accept me as their housekeeper, exercisor, and rat provider....no bites....no hisses...no bleeding

How nice is that, to be able to walk into your house and see those sweet faces looking up at you? I could envy you, but, oh heck I do envy you! Thanks for sharing your pictures, they really are super.....

Hi Kristina,

How's Houston these days?

It's cool when you can catch them in cute poses on their own. I could never get them to do that if I tried all day!! They do look like they've been "up to something" and sweet at the same time.

OUTSTANDING! I love them. You should switch to some paper with no ink. You can go to your local newspaper and see if you can get the end rolls. They have no ink.

How is Buffy's Coral color holding up? Is Daisy much bigger still. You can't tell to much from the head size but it looks like her neck is a bit thicker.
Would you mind posting a pic of Buffy's body. I would really like to see the sides of her in a close up too.....Please.

LindaH Sep 07, 2004 08:51 AM

I will do that. I need some new pics of the girls, anyway. Buffy is more corally than when I first got her. It's hard to say because I see them everday. Daisy is getting more corals and peaches on her sides as well. She is still bigger, but I believe Buffy is catching up with her in size. It is harder to tell them apart, at a glance, anymore. Nowadays, I have to look at them a minute to tell who is who. I'll take new pics and let you be the judge!
