My first hatchling

John Q Sep 06, 2004 08:24 PM

Finally, my first hatchling is out. I bred my male Het for VPI High Contrast albino to a very large, 3000 gram female with unknown genetics. Got 8 eggs that ranged in weight from 97 grams to 111 grams. The first one to hatch came out of an egg that weighed 107 grams. The hatchling is nice and plump, 70 grams. Not sure, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is considered "reduced pattern".
