Try a "real" garden center or greenhouse for clay pot bottoms (not a lowes or home depot type, but a place that only sells garden/yard/house plants, etc). They will probably carry some small ones (my local one does). Then do the usual drill - a hammer to the lip to knock out a chunk so the snake can get under it.

None of my hatchlings get hides at all, and they eat just fine. If they want security, they hide under the newspaper or paper towel.
I use paper towel and toilet paper tubes for EVERY one of my hatchlings. About 80-90% of the babies use them too.
