Tiny baby ball python (22g!)

chrisssanjose Sep 07, 2004 12:37 AM

Just came home from a long weekend and found this baby
out of its egg. He/she weighed in at 22g which is by
far my smallest baby to date. I've had babies 5x its
size (over 100g). She looks a little dehydrated.
It might be a challenge to get this one up and
running...wish me luck.

Regards,
ChrisS - SanJose

I had a pair that size this year for some reason. They both ate early and great. Best of luck but I'm not sure you'll need it!

I had twins weighing in at 25 & 28 grams. As long as they're healthy, no problem. Started mine with live fuzzies and now feeding on large adult mice df. Over 100 grams ea. now.

...require some work. I hatched twin female 100% het ghosts this year and the smaller one was about this size. Had to assist-feed it twice before she would take a live fuzzy mouse on her own. Now she's doing well.

Good luck with her!
