arg b/wTEGU food of choise ?

my argentine b/w have eatten eggs ( hard boiled ,soft boiled) raw ground sirloin, semi cooked chicken ,live crix,live superworms but i want to BEEF em up they are still young with almost no green color left. i have live rats and mouse babies is this a good choice. any feeding comments would be appreciated thanks Chris............

I think mice are your best bet for a good solid staple. Of course you'll want to give him lots of other stuff for variety too. Check out this post from the monitor forum

I feed my Tegus a lot of mussels (mollusks), they're a pretty good price and they're my Tegus favorite food after I stopped feeding goldfish (not recommended).
