every single ecuadorian boa that has been sold in the last year or two are from peru.
they come otu of peru with peru papework, and are peruvians, not ecuadorians. The name amazon basin was put by the importer whom didnt want people to know peru was open for cb boas.
and they succeded for a while.
amazon basin boas as they were being sold as were then sold by other dealers as ecuadorians cause it was a rumor that people took to.
They all came out of peru.

my prized Ecuadorians are really Peruvians? They have a distinct look about them so I assumed they were something different. Also, they came from a "big name" but I guess that doesn't matter if that's what they received them as.

I got a pair of Amazon basin Peruvian redtail boas from Larry Keller. The adults were wc in the Amazon basin.
