have on this forum are normally pretty good-natured and often lead to some interesting discussions(with the exception of my bull---t). I have the feeling that if any of us met at a show,we could all go out and have a beer(unless some of us were alcoholics and then it wouldn't be a good idea..maybe a glass of milk..unless some of us are lactose intolerant and then that might lead to the shi-s) but anyway, you know what I mean.

I had the same feeling after reading some of the posts, that full body armor and a can of mace might be the appropriate for a meeting of those on that board.

I'm glad most folks here get allong as well as they do. When they don't, a forum can become a pretty miserable place.

There's an old chat rule-of-thumb from the 80's called "Goodwin's Law" that says that the longer an internet discussion gets, the more likely it gets that someone will accuse someone else of being a Nazi (i.e. that they are committing genocide). While some discussions get pretty close to that point on this board, specifically with the purebreed/morph discussion, people never take it that far.

It says good things about the people on this board that at the end of the day nobody here thinks that the other people on the board are evil, but rather just have different opinons. A lot of people out there can't make that distinction.

I agree. I think it all has to do with the maturity level of the group. It's just an internet forum, plain and simple. I think that because there are mature exchanges of opinions on this forum, that truly says something of the maturity level of everyone here. It's just a forum, nothing to get worked up over. I thought while we were on opinions i'd throw in mine!
