Do you have a temp gauge in the enclosures?? If so what are the temps on the warm/cool ends. If not, then it could be that the enclosure is too warm and the snakes are moving to where they feel more comfortable.
>>I feed my snakes once approx. every 2 weeks or sooner. It has been about that long since I last fed my Cali. King, (as well as my corn). The whole time since their last feedings, they have been hiding under hide boxes on the cooler side of the tank. (No heat pad or light sorce is present on this side of the tank). They are active sometimes, but when resting, will always return to the hiding area on the cool side. The king is a little over 2 feet and is kept in a 30 long. The corn is full grown and kept in a 55 gal.
>>
>>My question is now that I have fed them, I would have expected them both to move over to the warmer sides of each of their enclosures to help digestion. But it has been a few days and they have not.
>>
>>Any ideas or reasons would be appreciated.
