I saw your post on the other forum, and would be very interested in learning more about this study of V. exanthematicus in Belgium...can you send me an email or post here about the details?
Your female does not look too fat...and V. exanthematicus go through a natural estivation/ brumation period anywhere from Sept. to Feb. when they breed with males - so the weight will come off when she mates with a male...the males also do not feed during this same mating period, and go through a natural cool down period...
