i have a 10'x5' cage outside for my tegu that i let him stay in all day i was just wondering if it is okay for me to leave him outside year round. I live in so. Cal. If i can leave him outside am i supposed to take him in on really rainy and cold days. How big do they have to be to start eating small rats and baby chicks because mine is about 3 feet long right now

Be very careful not only with very rainy days, but be extremely cautious with hot days. Provide a shade! A friend of mine lost his nice blue tegu due to a very sunny day.
