Hi, new here. I read in the Geckos forum that this is where to post on AFT's, so dont shoot me down. Question, I hatched out 2 AFT's that are three months old now. seems to be some pretty experienced people here so I was wondering if their coloring is normal at this age for a normal phase. Their parents were normal, the female had the same orange on her tail though like the babies. Not sure if either was het. They were bright yellow that has turned orange now.

Nice looking hatchlings. I have a couple my self. I have yet to breed them but am looking forward to it.

yes, those are normal colors. AFT's are usually born much brighter then they are as adults. chances are, the colors will darken up to the chocolate and beige. the orange on the tails is farely common too, nothing like the carrot-tail in leos. those babies are beautiful, i LOVE AFT's.

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"

Thanks, these are my first AFT hatchlings and that was what I was trying to find out. The parents I bought as adults.
